I build the things
people tap a billion
times a day.

Mobile App Engineer with a bias for shipping. Most recently at Meta, working on Instagram - where the difference between a good and a great implementation is measured in milliseconds and millions of sessions.

I’m a mobile engineer who likes problems that are equal parts product and systems. At Meta I worked inside Instagram Reels, building the kind of infrastructure that never shows up in the UI but quietly moves real numbers - monetization systems that operate across surfaces and recover revenue that would otherwise slip away.

My day-to-day lived in Kotlin and Android, close to playback, session tracking, and the Ads SDK. Working at that scale teaches you a particular discipline: every change is a wager against millions of sessions, so you learn to ship deliberately, measure honestly, and design systems that survive the next requirement you can’t yet see.

Outside of monetization, I care a lot about the fundamentals of mobile - reliable playback, offline-first behavior, and the unglamorous performance work that makes an app feel instant. I write about a lot of it on my tech blog.

Right now I’m open to new opportunities. If you’re building something hard in mobile - especially where reliability and scale matter - I’d love to talk.

[ 01 ] How I Work

Principles over process.

I believe in shipping early and iterating fast. I write code that’s simple to read, easy to change, and focused on real user impact - and I care about owning outcomes end-to-end, not just closing tickets.

01

Ship, then iterate

Get a working version out early. Refine based on real feedback, not assumptions.

02

Simplicity over cleverness

Code should be easy to read, change, and delete. Boring is usually better.

03

Own the outcome

Think beyond the ticket. Focus on what the user actually needs.

04

Design for change

Write modular code that adapts. Requirements will change, and that’s okay.

[ 02 ] Where I’m strongest

Focus areas.

01

Monetization Infrastructure

Cross-surface ad systems, session tracking, and impression accounting that turn engagement into revenue without hurting the experience.

02

Performance & Reliability

Playback, rendering, and the millisecond-level work that decides whether an app at scale feels instant or sluggish.

03

Offline-First & Sync

Sync engines, conflict resolution, and queueing that keep mobile apps useful even when the network isn’t.
